A Page For All Seasons

Okay guys. So this isn't something I normally talk about but I think it's worth it this time. I've found this AMAZING site called A Page For All Seasons (http://www.apage4allseasons.com/). I've told a few of you that I'm just starting to scrap again and get into the swing of things. Well, they have the most adorable kits!! Do you know what that means? That after 6 years of not scrapbooking I feel like I can get things moving again without having a brain cramp! I've chosen the HE SAID monthly auto-ship to start. I'll post my pages when I'm done. I can't wait!! So if any of you are stumped or just overwhelmed (like me) then this is the way to go. :)

Carter's First Day of School!

His first day was last Thursday. I'm slow getting pictures up. He was so excited to go. His teacher's name is Mrs. Trujillo. He pronounces it Tree-Hill. lol. You'd never know he was Hispanic, would ya? :) I love my baby boy and I'm so proud of him.

Margarita Open - Friday Aug. 15th

Okay, so I'm a little behind. Last Friday we had the annual Margarita Open that my Father-in-law puts on every year. We golf 18 holes then go back to his place for margarita's and dinner. This year it was steaks. Yum!! I don't remember much of anything else after tasting the steak - could that have been the margaritas? :)

Golfing was fun. It was the first time Clay and I had gone out together this year. I loved it. It's such a great thing to do together. Nothing better then uninterrupted time for 3 hours - with no kids. :) I love golfing dates!!

Bear Lake was a ton of fun. We went to visit my cousin Jeff on his Ranch - The J Bar K Ranch. We love it up there. It's so peaceful and quiet. The boys had a blast riding horses, 4-wheeling, running through the sprinklers, playing baseball, going to the beach, sitting by the fire at night and wrestling with Daddy. We can't wait to go back again next year. Thanks Jeff.

Stansbury Firestation Tour

The Tooele Mommies had a fire station tour on Monday, August 4th. Sorry I'm just getting to posting about it now. (Happy girls? :D)

The boys had lots of fun and Captain Joe gave us the grand tour. Joe is Sonia's hubbie - one of my great friends. It was fun to see him in action with all the kids. I don't know how he had so much patience. I'll admit, it's something I need to work on.

10 Year HS Reunion!

Well, after driving 5.5 hours home from Boise I stopped off at my mom's house to go the bathroom and change into a dress for my high school reunion. So much for spiffing up, right? It was fun although by the time I got there the food was all gone. :( I got to see a lot of my girls and a few guys we used to hang with. It was good seeing everyone and I'm amazed how everyone still looks the same.

Scentsy Convention 2008

Well, last Wednesday I left terrified for Boise, Idaho. I was doomed to go to the Scentsy Convention. Don't ask me why I paid for it before thinking about it. I'd never gone anywhere by myself before! Luckily, my awesome director Jen drove me and 4 other girls. Not 10 miles down the road guess what happened? We got pulled over!! Of course! It was a blast. I loved these girls from the second we met. Not only did I learn so much at convention but I feel like I walked away with some really close friends. I love all of you and I can't wait till we hang again!! Yay!

Oh, did I mention that SIX of us stayed in one room? Don't ask me how that worked but it did. We all got tougher stomach muscles after this trip - we laughed so much. I miss it already. Can't wait for next year!
