Fab 5

The first five people to respond to this post will get something made by me! My choice. For you. This offer does have some restrictions and limitations:

1. I make no guarantee you will like what I make for you.
2. What I create will be just for you.
3. It'll be done this year.
4. You have no clue what it's going to be. It may be a song. It may be a self-portrait or maybe even some creation I haven't dreamed up. I may draw. I may bake you something and mail it to you. Who knows? Not you, that's for sure! But let's be honest here. This is me and I will likely do something amazing.=) So come on, sign up!
5. I reserve the right to do something extremely strange.

The catch? Oh, the catch is that you must re-post this on your blog and offer the same to the first 5 people who do the same on your blog. The first five people to post this same blog on their blog and then leave a comment telling me they did will win a FAB-U-LOUS homemade gift by me. Let's keep the chain of love going around!!

Lunch With The Girls

Today Peyton and I went to lunch with some girlfriends from high school. It was so nice to get together again! We haven't done it since October and it was good to get into the groove again. I love all of you and hope more can make it next time!

Oh, I just have to say, I'm so proud of my baby boy. We picked up Tiffany on the way to lunch and got to chatting. I don't think we stopped until we parked. I open up the door and tell Peyton he was so quiet and good I almost forgot he was with us. He said, "That's because you guys were talking Mommy." What a good boy! He didn't interrupt us once! Then at lunch he somehow bit his own finger while shoving tortilla in his mouth. He must have bit it pretty hard. All the sudden I look at him and his face is purple. He's trying to hold in his cries so he's not loud in the restaurant. Can you believe it? He said he was trying to be a "good boy". I tell you. This kid deserves an award. I don't know what I did to have him as my son. Someone is definitely looking out for me.

Love you Peyton!

January Recap

I've been MIA in the blogging world and I'll do my best to catch up. I don't know how some of you do it. :)

Carter is doing great in school. He brought home his report card and he received all 4's. :) That's straight A's to some of us. I'm so proud of him. He tries so hard to be a good boy at school. He's ahead in his reading and his teacher has moved him up a level to really challenge him.

Peyton is growing before my eyes. My baby turned 4 years old on New Year's. I don't know where the time has gone. I guess life flies by when you're happy. He's been practicing his letters (sight and sound) and he's picking it up so fast! He already knows his ABC's and can count to 17. :) After that it goes back to 14. lol

I've been SO SICK. I'm usually the healthy one in the bunch and I go 2 or 3 years without ever really getting sick. It finally got up with me. My temperature was at 104 for 3 days. No strep, just an evil, evil bug.

Clay and I have been trying to eat healthier and lose a few of those holiday pounds. Clay is really stepping it up. He runs on the treadmill EVERY SINGLE DAY. I'm so proud of him. He loses 3-4 pounds a week. (That makes me mad/jealous) Well, not really mad. But sort of. :D Clay has lost his little belly and he's still looking to drop another 9 pounds.

Clay is working like crazy. His job is so tough on his body and he does it without ever complaining. I know he hates it but he does it so I can stay home with Peyton. Hopefully he'll be able to find something else once the kids are in school and I can start working again.

Well, that's us in a nutshell. :)
