Lunch with Scentsy

Jenn, Kara, and I had a Christmas lunch for all of our consultants who could make it. It was a blast getting together just to visit and unwind. I got to hang with my girls from convention who I miss dearly. I'm lucky I got some great friends through Scentsy!

Pepsi and Santa

Pepsi had Santa come visit for all the kids. They got to sit on Santa's lap and visit and have lots of treats. The kids had so much fun!

I Need Some Help Please!

Okay, so now that I'm director I need to think of a catchy team name. I AM NOT GOOD AT THIS. I've been racking my brain for months trying to think of something. Still nothing. It can't have the word Scentsy in it and it can't be a team name already chosen. So I'm asking you for help. If you can think of a great team name for me then I'm going to give that person a prize! lol. I'm not completely sure what that is at the moment. Either a gift card or Scentsy. You choose!! :) HELP ME PLEASE!!

Leave team name options in your comment and I'll post the winner when I have it!

I'm a Director!!

Another great thing happened to me on Halloween. I was promoted with Scentsy and I'm now a Director!!! Can you believe it?!?!? I'm still in shock. It was something I never really thought would happen to me.

I want to thank all of my amazing friends and family for always being there for me and supporting me. Thanks to those of you who had parties with me just because you loved me. :) It means more than anything. I couldn't have done it without all of you! Thanks so much!

Halloween!!

We had so much fun trick-or-treating with the boys. Carter was Indiana Jones and Peyton was a Power Ranger. They got way too much candy but luckily they don't care for it all that much. The weather was absolutely perfect. I can't remember the last Halloween we've had where we didn't have to bundle up in coats. It was perfect without a jacket. Not too hot and not too cold. Perfect. :)

I'm so glad I get to share these special times with my family. I love them very much and thank God for them everyday. Thanks boys! I love all three of you!!

A Pony??

So my grandpa surprised us all when he told us that he bought the boys a pony! Can you believe it? Talk about spoiled! lol. They are so excited. We got him a couple of weeks ago but this is the first time with pictures. They went today with Nana and Bapa to ride. Their pony is the white one. His name is Stormy. It's hard to see their faces with the cowboy hats but what can you do? :)

Girls Night Out

Rhonda, Cher, and Melissa
Me and Tiff
Cher and Melissa
Last night we had our monthly girls night out. It was much needed. We went to the Olive Garden and our waiter was HORRIBLE!! If you know me well enough then you know I'm cranky when I'm hungry. Well, he got a little of it. :) We got our appetizer AFTER our entree. Explain that one. He didn't come back to check on waters, bread sticks, or anything. Tiffany didn't even get her Coke until we were practically done with dinner. He's lucky he hooked us all up in some way or another or else I would have been really mean. lol. Just kidding. But I really was mad. I'm scary when I'm famished. Thanks Rhonda, Cher, Melissa, and Tiffany for such an amazing night. I really do look forward to it weeks in advance. I'm glad that after all these years we're still good friends. Here's to many more Girls Night Outs!!

Carter is in the Championship!!

Yay! They won! He did such a good job! It was beyond freezing and his little hands were beet red. Poor kid. He loved it though and tried his hardest to do a good job. I'm so proud of him. He's still my baby. :)

Carter's Football Team in the Play-offs!

Yesterday was the first football game in the play-offs this year. Carter did such a good job! The team we played against was a little "rough". They liked to tackle even though it was flag-football. lol. The refs were about 14 years old so they didn't call anything. Basically - play at your own risk. One time Carter was about 2 yards from the goal line and they were literally HOLDING him. Do you think we saw a yellow flag? Nope. Why would we?

We won so we got the last laugh. That's what you get for playing dirty! Our next game is Wednesday and I'll try to take some pictures. I just get so focused I forget about the camera.

Gardner Village

We went to Gardner Village last Friday. It was a lot of fun doing the witch hunt. The boys had a blast and thought it was so funny. It was UEA weekend so it was a madhouse! I wish we would have gone on a different day but it all worked out. I got an adorable witch hat I'm going to wear this year.

Bad Tooth Fairy!

Okay, so you know my last story about all the missing teeth? Well, the tooth fairy was supposed to come last night. She forgot!!!! AHHH! I was so tired last night that I spaced it. I woke up at like 6AM in a panic - I must have been dreaming about it. By that time it was too early and he would for sure wake up.

So this morning Carter comes in after getting dressed and looks at me sadly and says, "The tooth fairy didn't bring any money last night. I even went right to sleep." Would that not make you feel like the worst mom on Earth?

So I thought quickly and said, "Honey, sometimes lots of kids lose their teeth on the same night and it's really hard for the tooth fairy to make it to everyone's house in time before morning. She's probably just running late. I won't touch a thing and I'm sure she'll come when I'm out running errands today."

C: "Does that really happen, Mom?"

Me: "Sure it does honey. It happened to me before too. (I think it really did actually)

He seemed to be happy with my answer. He asked me one more time before I dropped him off at school if it really happened to me. Then he was happy.

CRISIS AVERTED. Whew! So, just as I got done loading Peyton in the car I REMEMBERED I was the tooth fairy! I almost forgot again. Bad mom! Bad, bad mom!!!

Carter lost ANOTHER tooth

Okay, so I know I posted when he lost his front tooth. Well, he lost his other front tooth last week. Then today he lost one on the bottom!! Does he brush his teeth, do you ask? Of course!! He has - had 4 loose all at once. Today's tooth was a fluke I think. He fell when he landed after going down the slide and bumped his mouth. He's so toothless. It's adorable. What am I going to do with that kid? Tape his teeth in?

My camera isn't connecting with my computer at the moment - of course. I'll post pictures when I can.

Carter lost his front tooth!

Carter's Family Birthday Party

Well this is a little late but it's better late than never, right? We went to Coldstone Creamery (yum) and the kids got to take a tour of the back room. They loved getting into the freezers and seeing how the ice cream was made. After that each of them got to make their own combo!! They got to go behind the counter and mix it themselves. It was awesome. I'm so bummed that I didn't get any pictures of it. I was too busy trying to keep order back there. I have to admit I was a little jealous. :)

A Page For All Seasons

Okay guys. So this isn't something I normally talk about but I think it's worth it this time. I've found this AMAZING site called A Page For All Seasons (http://www.apage4allseasons.com/). I've told a few of you that I'm just starting to scrap again and get into the swing of things. Well, they have the most adorable kits!! Do you know what that means? That after 6 years of not scrapbooking I feel like I can get things moving again without having a brain cramp! I've chosen the HE SAID monthly auto-ship to start. I'll post my pages when I'm done. I can't wait!! So if any of you are stumped or just overwhelmed (like me) then this is the way to go. :)

Carter's First Day of School!

His first day was last Thursday. I'm slow getting pictures up. He was so excited to go. His teacher's name is Mrs. Trujillo. He pronounces it Tree-Hill. lol. You'd never know he was Hispanic, would ya? :) I love my baby boy and I'm so proud of him.

Margarita Open - Friday Aug. 15th

Okay, so I'm a little behind. Last Friday we had the annual Margarita Open that my Father-in-law puts on every year. We golf 18 holes then go back to his place for margarita's and dinner. This year it was steaks. Yum!! I don't remember much of anything else after tasting the steak - could that have been the margaritas? :)

Golfing was fun. It was the first time Clay and I had gone out together this year. I loved it. It's such a great thing to do together. Nothing better then uninterrupted time for 3 hours - with no kids. :) I love golfing dates!!

Bear Lake was a ton of fun. We went to visit my cousin Jeff on his Ranch - The J Bar K Ranch. We love it up there. It's so peaceful and quiet. The boys had a blast riding horses, 4-wheeling, running through the sprinklers, playing baseball, going to the beach, sitting by the fire at night and wrestling with Daddy. We can't wait to go back again next year. Thanks Jeff.

Stansbury Firestation Tour

The Tooele Mommies had a fire station tour on Monday, August 4th. Sorry I'm just getting to posting about it now. (Happy girls? :D)

The boys had lots of fun and Captain Joe gave us the grand tour. Joe is Sonia's hubbie - one of my great friends. It was fun to see him in action with all the kids. I don't know how he had so much patience. I'll admit, it's something I need to work on.
